People in the United States can and do use “eh” as an expression from time to time. Including me. Not as frequently as Canadians, but it’s not a unique expression to Canada.
Yep – have to concur with Oarboar here; I use “eh” myself, though I may be the only Yank I know directly who does. I’m somewhat generationally ambuguous, so that may account for it. As for the League, the only member whose nationality we know is Fifi, who is French. I’m leaving room for interpretation to allow for easier casting – you know, when they option Penny and friends for the inevitable Hollywood blockbuster. 🙂
FWIW, I saw a car tonight with a United States flag sticker, a Canadian flag sticker, and a Washington state specialty plate of “USA EH”.
Judging from the parking sticker, you can probably find it in a city near you that’s named after a certain captain. (OK, maybe it wasn’t really named after him.)
Is the Librarian Canadian? “Eh?” is not an American expression.
And what is the National background of all of the League?
