This reminds me of a part in “Order of the Stick” where a wizard paralyzed the crew with evil energy. Belkar was unaffected and just slashed the wizard and stole his wallet. Elan couldn’t figure out why Belkar wasn’t poisoned by the evil energy.
There’s no mystery I’m worried about hiding on that score. The simple answer is four tinted omni lights with shadows on for one render, my regular lights for the other two renders and a round of compositing in Photoshop. since that probably sounds incomprehensible to anyone but me, though, how about I get you a blog post or tutorial article with screenshots for next week? It’s about time I got back to my “How it’s made” articles anyway 🙂
I knew there was something fishy about our fraud training! *Puts on tinfoil hat*
Don’t think you’ve seen training till you’ve seen ours! 🙂

Yep. Sometimes it’s good to be bad, huh?
I really like the shadowing in this strip. Care to tell us how you set it up, or would that ruin the mystery?

I love that show!
Me too. Although, maybe with the way things are lately, I should go for a “How Things Don’t Work” section as well… 🙂
