It takes a lot of skill to make a good cup of tea.
It does indeed! The key is in never boiling the water… 86 degrees C is perfection. Unless you’ve got a replicator – then I guess you could just say “Tea, Earl Grey, hot.” =)
Replicators are not perfect, remember this gem from the pilot of Star Trek Voyager? (The Caretaker part 1, this scene is before they leave DS9)
“Tomato soup.”
“There are fourteen varieties of tomato soup available from this replicator. With rice, with vegetables, Bolian style, with pasta, with…”
“Plain.”
“Specify hot or chilled.”
“Hot! Hot, plain tomato soup!”
– Tom Paris and the computer
a minute later:
“Ugh, fourteen varieties and they can’t even get plain tomato soup right!”
– Tom Paris
Especially bad when trying to find a good cup of tea. Just ask Arthur Dent.
Yep – it’s all in that Brownian motion, isn’t it?
Great work on the monkey rendering, I love the feet.
Thanks!! Took a little thinking on that one – Since TLG’s chimp essentially has 4 hands, I finally decided to make him walk on his hind “fists”.
The faces are very reminiscent of Diddy Kong. Good Job.
Thanks! I needed a cute, semi-expressive monkey I could stand looking at for the next couple months, and TLG’s chimp head didn’t cut it for me.
