In a Brit accent — at least my flat-vowelled, Home Counties-ish accent — Parker Carr already sounds like “park a car” (with accent: park ‘uh’ car), which I suspect you know full well Mr. Rittenhouse!
I suspected, but wasn’t positive 🙂 Strangely, the only regional accent I’ve studied in much depth is Liverpudlian Scouse – which, when I heard Dave’s accent from Red Dwarf, I instantly knew I’d found Penny’s native diction. But, I am positively chuffed that my intent with Parker’s name worked out in that fashion!
Lol…is parker’s middle initial “A”?
Might be, might be… Of course, then he’d need a nickname like “Park” – Maybe let’s not. 🙂
