* This strip is a “reverse homage” to the tendency shown by comic writers to drastically abbreviate once they’ve worked with the same artist for a long time. Anyone else out there ever gotten a script for an issue featuring an epic battle with the only text describing the fight for the artist being, “pp 14-22: Big fight”? Oh, the good ol’ days… LOL!
